HBIS PMC
Palabora Minging Company（HBIS PMC）is located in Parabora of Limpopo Province, South Africa. In 2013, HBIS Group, as the largest shareholder, led the successful acquisition of shares held by Rio Tinto and Anglo American by a Chinese consortium. Since the acquisition, the company has been profitable for ten consecutive years, becoming a successful example of Chinese enterprises investing in overseas resources, and achieving A-share listing of China in 2017.
The company is the largest supplier of copper products in South Africa, a powerful magnetite supplier, and one of the largest suppliers of vermiculite in the world.
The company has won the annual "Top Employer" in South Africa, the National Business Award - Sustainable Development Award and other honors.
HBIS Serbia
HBIS GROUP Serbia Iron & Steel d.o.o Beograd is located in the city of Smederevo, about 60 kilometers southeast of Belgrade. Since the establishment in 2016 by HBIS Group's acquisition of the Smederevo Steel plant in Serbia, HBIS achieved full profitability by the end of 2016 through half a year. Since 2017, the company's production and operation have achieved a sustained and stable high level, ranking the first largest export enterprise in Serbia for four consecutive years.
Founded in 1913, the company was once the only state-owned large-scale pillar steel enterprise in Serbia, with a supporting steel production capacity of 2.2 million tons and two ports in use on the Danube River. The main products include hot-rolled coil, pickling coil, cold-rolled coil, electroplated tin plate and so on. The products are mainly sold to European Union region.
The company won the Top Brand of Serbia, the Best Exporter of Serbia, the United Nations Development Program and the European Union jointly issued the "Green Agenda" certificate and other honors.
MakstilAD
Founded in 1997, Makstil AD is located in the northeast of Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, about 10 kilometers from the city center, with convenient rail and road transportation.
The company was privatised on the basis of the former Skopje Steel Works (built and put into operation in 1967). After its establishment, the company has carried out several equipment and technology upgrading and transformation, and has a strong market competitiveness. The factory has an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons.
In 2000, it passed the ISO9001 quality management system certification. Marine structural steel has passed ABS, LR, GL, BV, DNV, RINA, CR, Croatia and RS, Russia certification and production license. Mainly according to European standards, American standards, German standards, Yugoslav standards, classification society standards organization of various quality steel plate production.
The main varieties are: ordinary structural steel, low alloy steel, weather steel, pipeline steel, ordinary grade ship plate, high strength ship plate, boiler and high pressure vessel steel plate. Specifications of finished sheet: thickness range is 5-100 mm (up to 130 mm according to requirements), width is up to 3,050 mm (up to 3,150 mm according to requirements), maximum length is 16000mm.
The products are sold in Macedonia, European Union countries, Balkan countries and other markets such as the United States, Canada, the Middle East and North Africa.
Duferco Steel Processing (PTY) Ltd (South Africa)
Duferco Steel Processing (DSP) is located in Sadalnia Harbour, Western Cape, South Africa, with a superior geographical position, only 5 kilometers away from the famous deep-water port of Sadalnia, South Africa. There is a special road from the dock to the factory, which has obvious advantages as an export base.
The main units of the company include 1 continuous pickling line, 2 sets of single stand, cover back (12 furnaces), 1 galvanizing line, the products are located in building materials. Plant design annual use of 650,000 tons of hot coil or pickling coil, production of 450,000 tons of chilled coil, 120,000 tons of cold rolled coil, 320,000 tons of galvanized coil.
The company produces European standard, American standard and Japanese standard products, and the products are mainly sold to the African, American, European, Middle East and Asian markets.
Duferco International Trading Holding
Duferco International Trading Holding (HBIS DITH) is located in Lugano, Switzerland. In 2015, HBIS Group took control of the company, which officially opened a new model of integration cooperation between China's large steel enterprises and the world's largest steel trading service providers. HBIS DITH has the world's largest steel marketing service network, serving 52,300 customers around the world, and is the world's largest steel trader. With its leading market position and secure international trade network, as well as its scale, independence and global influence, HBIS maintains good business performance and development momentum.
The company has developed into four major sectors, steel and raw material trade, steel manufacturing or processing, distribution center, and service trade, especially in the field of service trade, and has deeply cultivated the whole value chain of service trade such as logistics, insurance, technical support, and structured finance.
